The family of a woman killed in a September car accident near Sherman has filed a lawsuit against the volunteer firefighter charged in her death.

The Minn. State Patrol has released the names of the drivers involved in the fatal accident around 3:40 p.m. Thursday near southbound 169 at Marystown Rd. 30-year-old Micah Gurgel of Jordan died immediately at the scene; 29-year-old Daniel Fetting of Shakopee has minor injuries.
