An appellate court will soon be asked to overturn the half-million dollars a jury awarded a city employee in a sexual harassment trial involving City Secretary Gustavo Guevara.As mandated by state law, $200,000 already has been taken off the $500,000 awarded to city employee Hilda Negrete, who filed a sexual harassment and retaliation lawsuit against the City of Laredo.
