Timothy Powers, 49, was killed when his motorcycle struck a big rig driven by 41-year-old Florida City resident Felix Villa, who was attempting a U-turn on U.S. 1 just south of Indrio Road north of Fort Pierce. In a lawsuit filed in the 19th Circuit Court in Fort Pierce, Jennifer Powers claims Villa was negligent and responsible for her husband’s death.
