A wrongful death lawsuit filed by the guardians of Jeremy Anderson against West Helena Flowers & Gift’s owner Warren Holmes has been settled in Phillips County Circuit Court for an undisclosed amount. Holmes shot and killed Anderson during an armed robbery at the flower shop on New Year’s Day 2005 as Anderson and two other men fled the scene.
